I'd
just gotten in from Bourbon Street (looved the N.O. beads! I bought...and
wore all week...loads of them!) one of my favorite writers, Tori
Carrington. They're a husband-and-wife writing team, Tony and Lori,
and here they are! I was thrilled to have met them :) |
These
ladies were at the eHarlequin reception in the Harlequin/Silhouette
hospitality suite that was open for most of the convention. |
The Brenda Chin Awards... retribution for
a birthday gift that involved a singing gorillagram! ;) |

I made a new friend from
Los Angeles at Saturday's luncheon :) Here's some other ladies at
our table as well. |

Okay,
must I admit it? I'm a major Linda Howard fan :) Here she is
at the Pocket signing. I missed the one-page synopsis critique
workshop, just to come meet her! Naturally, I'd seen her a zillion
times before the signing, but since I didn't know who she was, I had to
come to the signing to find that out, LOL! She was sweet enough to
sign my old, not-too-tattered copy of "White Lies" which I'd
brought along just in case :) |
Linda
chatting with another fan. I'm also a fan of Nora Roberts, Suzanne
Brockman, Merline Lovelace, and others, but wasn't able to get their picks
without being obvious (or rude) about it. Once Linda ran out of
books, however, the crowd clustered about her table disappeared, and I was
able to get these shots :) |
A
very pretty fellow conference-goer :) |

| Here's Julie Garwood... I stood in line almost an hour to
get her autograph for my friend Dallys, whom I've known since we were best
friends in sixth grade! I got the pics of Linda Howard while waiting
in line here for Julie, and I got the very last hardback book she had for
Dallys :) |
