Wishes in a Bottle is a FINALIST!

I was absolutely thrilled yesterday to get an email that Wishes in a Bottle, the first in my paranormal series, Wishes & Dreams, was a finalist in the Music City Romance Writers’ Melody of Love Contest!  I was so excited, I called my mom and my daughter and deafened them with “SQUEEEEEEE!!!!!!!” I gotta say, that’s a helluva great way to kick off NaNo, too!!! Lots of great positive feelings!! The winners will be announced somewhere around December 1st, so cross your fingers for me! Although even if I don’t win, I’m thrilled just to be one of the finalists!

That makes two from this series that have finaled in a contest this year… A Cat For Troy, the third in Wishes & Dreams series, was a finalist in the Fantasy  Futuristic & Paranormal Romance Writers’ On the Far Side Contest earlier this year. This manuscript is also my NaNoWriMo project this year, and I plan/hope to finish it by the end of the month.
