Before starting with any narration, Jay did a read-through of the full book. Then he narrated some dialogue for each of the major characters, plus a couple not so major but who were crucial to the plot so we wanted their voices just right. He sent me the sound clip of these this afternoon, and we went back and forth in email, working out tone, pitch, accent. Jay’s a pleasure to work with, making some really good suggestions and doing great interpretations on the character voices! Also, I very much like his regular narrative voice… I couldn’t have told you just what it was I wanted for the voice reading my book, I couldn’t have described it… but when I hear him reading, that’s exactly what I wanted!

On a side note, I’m coming out with a new cover that is a little less suggestive of a steamy romance (which it’s not), and that’ll be uploaded soon, plus I have a banner being made… and as we get closer to the audiobook release date, a book trailer. This is soooooo exciting!
