How many stars am I allowed to give this? Twenty-five you say? That works!

A Twist of Demon is the first book in S.E. Babin's Cocktails in Hell series. This urban fantasy series... starting with this book... is simply outrageously, totally epic. It's hilarious, charming, warm-hearted, just... there aren't enough adjectives.

The characterization is superb, and every single character (at least, the good guys) make you want to stand up and cheer for them. The world-building is spectacular, too. I feel like I'm right there with them in the bar!

And when the mild-mannered Dave lost it... well... let's just say... my mouth was hanging open and I was completely speechless!!! That was so freakin' fabulous! Sooo um, he really likes having a place he can relax. Wow.

This entire series simply cannot be beat. If you haven't read it, you're missing a serious treat!! From the moment I opened the first page, I was hooked... and my life fell to smithereens because I spent the next 4 days binge-reading til I got to the last book (there are 8).
