This was an unexpected find. I was truly charmed, and couldn’t put the book down til the very end! The characterization was superb, and while I felt impatient with Steven’s denseness, well, he is a guy after all! And he did come around in the end. The plot was well thought out and well executed, the pacing was great and the author voice terrific. The scenes with the former girlfriend were also well done, not over-the-top, and her escalation slow but steady.

Overall this book was a pleasure to read, beginning to end!
