An AMAZING paranormal "cozy" mystery series... also, with romance :)

This is an amazing series that I just discovered, and binge-read my way straight through, plus also the spin-off series that comes after the end of this one.

Jayne Frost is the daughter of Jack Frost (yes, THAT Jack Frost) who is the Winter King, making Jayne the Winter Princess. Her mother is the sister of Mrs. Claus (yes, THAT Mrs. Claus), making Santa her Uncle Kris. In the first book, Miss Frost Solves a Cold Case, some employees are quitting (disappearing?) at Santa's flagship "Santa's Workshop" store in Nocturne Falls, a tourist-oriented town that celebrates Halloween year-round, and where supernaturals live masquerading as humans masquerading as supernaturals. That is, the gargoyle statue in the town square really IS a gargoyle.

This is just the first of the Jayne Frost series, which continues for 7 books, before 4-book spin-off series (I'm hoping there will be more).

Let me just say this: This is, hands-down, the most charming series I have EVER read... and I've been reading voraciously since 2nd grade. It has just the right combination of everything: friendship, romance, humor, suspense, action, oh, and let's not forget about food, chocolate and Dr. Pepper specifically!

I simply can't say enough about both series. I highly, HIGHLY recommend it!

And to make things more fun, Kristen Painter also has an entire 16-book Nocturne Falls paranormal romance series, that I also recommend for just plain FUN!
