This... is the best of them all (and they are all fabulous...)! The Wolf vs. the World is the final book in The Hidden City Supernatural Sleuth series, and wraps up the various story lines.

So, I can't really say too much because (spoilers!) but it is exciting, thrilling, charming, a rollercoaster that evokes both laughter and sniffles. Instead of a proper review (because of those darned spoilers), I thought I'd share my absolutely favorite passages that had me howling (when you read them in context, you'll be howling too):

“I’m so sorry…"

“Why are you sorry?"

“It’s called empathy."

“Oh, right. Yeah, my therapist goes on about that.”

The most amazing anticlimactic dialogue ever: “Papa, can I have ice cream?”

The single most crucial word in the entire book: “Jump!”

This book is absolutely a must-read-NOW! You won't be sorry!
