This entire Guild Codex series is absolutely amazing. In fact, there are 4 subseries to the Guild Codex series, and they are ALL amazing, but let me focus on the first one first. The Spellbound is the first of the Guild Codex series, and Three Mages and a Margarita is the first book in that series.
The heroine is absolutely kick-ass with Issues; some pretty serious issues, and for good reason, and honestly? I want to BE her when I grow up! The hero isn't clear at first but becomes apparent as the series progresses.
There are three initial sidekicks, all VERY hot dudes, and another with potential, but to be VERY clear, this is NOT a reverse harem scenario, and she winds up with only one of them (can't tell, cause... spoilers! neiners!)
These are can't-put-down books, and I read for days (actually, for 2 weeks, every night until stupid o'clock to read the first 3 series). I simply could not wait to turn the page, or "just one more chapter..."
I will say, the timelines of the first two series, Spellbound and Demonized, cross over considerably. I did try to read them in the reading order (available via the author's website) but it was honestly too confusing, so I stuck with reading all the Spellbound novels first, then the next, and that worked admirably!
