Uplifting feedback from a beta reader

In the face of all the rejections I’ve been getting, my heart got lighter when I got this feedback today from a beta reader in the middle of A Cat For Troy:

“Full disclosure: I read all of the chapters in one sitting. I couldn’t help myself they were SO FREAKING GOOD I couldn’t stop reading!!!! My initial response is YAAAAAASSSSSSSS!!!!! This is my favorite part of the book thus far, the story has great flow, the character interactions are solid, the sense of place is really well developed, and I am LOVING the relationship that is developing between Cat and Troy! Seriously this is such a great story!”

If only an agent could see it that way! Maybe, one day, one will… I have renewed hope!
