That is the brand-spanking-new boxed set cover for my 16th century vampire trilogy When Darkness Falls, designed by the absolutely incomparable Eeva Lancaster of The Book Khaleesi — and I need everyone to take a moment of silence for those BOOK SPINES because WOW.

I've been squealing since I first saw it. My cats are concerned.

But WAIT. There's more.

Eeva also wrote a song from my synopsis. A SONG. It's still in draft, but when I heard it for the first time — and the second... and the third — I was on the floor, metaphorically... but literally sobbing so hard I couldn't make out the lyrics and had to listen three times just to hear them properly. It's a romance, people. I facepalmed at myself and cried anyway.
